The 40 inch x 3-1/2 inch square end blade on this double handled darby allows workers to float all the way to the edge and corners of the cement surface. The dense material wears like magnesium for extremely long life. The 3/8 inch laminated canvas-resin blade doesn’t soak up water like wood after repeated use and cleanings. The blade works the concrete like a wood float creating a rough texture that makes it popular for use with color hardeners and other decorative concrete applications. The darby features a broken-in face that is ready-to-use and includes two wooden float handles to apply even pressure where needed.
