PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Thermafiber® RainBarrier® 45 continuous insulation is a non-corrosive Type I semi-rigid board for exceptional performance in rain screen and cavity wall construction applications. It is designed to work with a diverse range of cavity wall or open-joint facade systems. RainBarrier reduces thermal bridging and increases overall R-value and creates barrier continuity. RainBarrier 45 also reduces the possibility of condensation within the wall. This non-combustible and fire resistant product protects against smoke and fire. It helps sound control by cutting down noise between floors, through walls, and from outdoors. RainBarrier 45 is highly UV resistant and helps conserve energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions. RainBarrier 45 contributes to credits in several green building programs such as LEED® and Green Globes®.
