PRODUCT OVERVIEW

TOP-CAST is a water-based, top-surface retarder which does not require covering with plastic for protection. Surface retarders work by preventing the topmost layer of poured-in-place flatwork from curing. Once the rest of the concrete has cured, the top layer can be washed off. TOP-CAST 05 Powder Blue Violet Sandblast Finish leaves an etch depth of a sand blasted finish. TOP-CAST surface retarder is ideal for poured-in-place flatwork and the top surface of precast panels. Actual removal time for the desired appearance varies based upon concrete mix design, finishing technique, weather conditions and grade of TOP-CAST used.
